Penney P. Holland
Penney P. Holland, a resident of Franktown, Virginia was selected as the District 4 Director by the A & N Electric Cooperative Board to fill the unexpired term of the late James G. Collins, Jr. in October of 2017 and was elected to the A & N Board in 2018. Penney currently works with Chesapeake Properties in Cape Charles, VA. Prior to working with Chesapeake Properties, Penney has worked with Virginia Tech since 2014 both at the Agricultural Research Center and the Virginia Cooperative Extension office in Northampton County.
Penney has lived on the Eastern Shore for her entire life besides her college years at Mary Baldwin University and Christopher Newport University. Penney grew up in Cape Charles, Virginia and attended Cape Charles School and Broadwater Academy.
Penney has been married for 28 years to Jeff Holland and they have two sons: Logan who is 26 and employed at Duncan Farms in New Church, VA and Ben who is 25 and is employed with Virginia Farm Bureau in Eastville.
Penney is passionate about the Eastern Shore community and is blessed to be able to live, work and enjoy the Shore. She is currently the District 4 representative on the A&N Board of Directors. Penney prioritizes her service to the Eastern Shore in this board capacity. She believes strongly that A&N should not only continue to focus on high quality customer service to its commercial and residential customers but also invest in its infrastructure and its employees to assure that A&N is well poised for its long term responsibility to deliver on its mission to enhance life on the Shore through member driven services.
