Residential Disconnect Moratorium Ending

Governor Ralph Northam ended Virginia’s COVID-19 State of Emergency on June 30. As a result, the residential utility disconnection moratorium will end on August 29.

To help members during the COVID-19 pandemic, A&N Electric Cooperative temporarily suspended service disconnections due to nonpayment of bills. The state later imposed a disconnect moratorium for the duration of the state of emergency.

Co-op Prepared for the Local Effects of Tropical Storm Elsa

A&N Electric Cooperative is prepared for the local effects of Tropical Storm Elsa.

The local area will see some direct impacts from the storm as early as tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service.

The Eastern Shore is projected to experience some heavy rains and windy conditions as the storm passes over the region. With heavy rain and winds, there is a potential for power outages from fallen limbs and trees.

Coronavirus Relief Funds are Again Available to Co-op Members

A&N Electric Cooperative is again assisting with the distribution of Coronavirus Relief Funds to co-op members who have fallen behind on electric bill payments as of April 30.

Funds will be used to offset electric account arrearages only, and will not be applied to any other fees or charges of the Cooperative. You will be required to attest to a COVID pandemic-related need by filling out and returning the form in one of the links below.
