Severe Weather Expected Monday Night

There is a marginal risk for severe weather tonight (Oct. 25), as a cold front crosses the area. Showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to develop ahead of the front, with a few strong to severe storms possible. Damaging winds will be the main threat with any storm. This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast Maryland, northeast North Carolina, eastern Virginia and southeast Virginia.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. South wind 7 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight (10/25/21)

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 58. South wind 8 to 13 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tuesday (10/26/21)

Showers likely, mainly before 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 68. Northwest wind 8 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
