Cooperative Annual Meeting is Aug. 23rd
The A&N Electric Cooperative Annual Member Meeting will be held on Thursday, Aug. 23 at Nandua High School’s Auditorium.
Your annual meeting is the occasion to exercise one of the greatest benefits of being an electric coop member; voting to elect your board members.
As a member of the cooperative, each person receiving electric service is urged to take an active part in its business by voting for its Board of Directors.
Those members who are not planning to attend the annual meeting can still make their vote count. Be sure to look at your upcoming bill to find a voting proxy. Fill out the proxy and return it to the co-op prior to the annual meeting to be eligible for one of four $100 bill credits.
Members who have selected paperless billing will receive their proxy in the mail.
A&N Electric Cooperative staff will be present at Nandua High School at 5:30 p.m. to welcome members and to begin the process of voter registration. Voter registration ends promptly at 6:55 p.m. and the business meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
If a member has returned a completed proxy and later decides to attend the annual meeting, the proxy will be voided and their chance to enter the drawing for the proxy prize will be forfeited. That member will still be able to vote in person at the annual meeting.
