Lighting the Way has adopted to roadways, one in each of the Virginia counties A&N Electric Cooperative serves.
So far, cooperative employees have put in more than 6 hours of volunteer time and cleaned 4.5 miles of roadway in Tasley and near Cheriton.
Employees plan to clean each of the roadways twice a year, for a total of at least 4 annual pickups.
